Senior Pastors

Chris and Jamie Nelson

Chris has served River City in full-time ministry since 2007. Jamie uses her talents to lead the Creative Team while pursuing her master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. They enjoy raising their family and traveling. They have four daughters, Eden, Emma, Elise, and Macie.

Bishop

Robert and Cindy Nelson

Robert Nelson faithfully served as Pastor from 1999 - Feb. 2024. Cindy enjoys leading a small group and being a musician. They have one child and four granddaughters. They enjoy road trips and spending time with their family.

Administrator

Heather Abshire

Heather has served in many capacities at River City. She led the worship team for years and still uses her talents to glorify God in song. She is devoted to her family and currently leads our administrative team.
