God wants to know us in an individual and personal way. It's so much more than just doing "church stuff", He wants a real relationship with us. Our Sunday morning worship services are where we focus on that relationship. Whether you're new to faith, just have questions, or have been following Jesus for a long time, our services are a safe place to learn more about what it means to know God and grow closer to Him.
One of the ways God designed for us to live in freedom is to have people in our life to help us on the journey. Connecting with others in River City Small Groups is a practical, biblical, and enjoyable way to find that kind of life-changing community.
We believe God has a plan, or better said, a purpose for every person who answers His invitation into The Kingdom. Our lives will never fully make sense until we discover our purpose. The River City Growth Track is designed to help us take steps in the important process of discovering our purpose, and there is an opportunity to attend weekly following our 11:00 a.m. service.
Make A Difference
Making a difference is God's ultimate plan for our life. When we do, the Bible tells us we will experience joy. Through the River City Dream Team, we hope to connect every person to an opportunity to live out their calling by using their gifts and talents to serve others in the church and the community.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
River City is a church whose purpose is to make disciples of Jesus Christ, one relationship at a time.
We are founded upon the belief that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God.
We believe in the great commission and are endeavoring to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy and compassion.
We believe there is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4). He is the creator of heaven and earth, and of all living beings. He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Spirit (indwelling Spirit).
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ
Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14; Acts 2:38
We believe the church has been called out of the world to be a group of people who follow Jesus Christ. These Christ followers, through the power of the Holy Spirit, will affect genuine spiritual change in their communities. As the body of Christ on earth, this offers hope to humanity. The church is one group of people made up of many members, diverse in their gifts and callings.
