What Is First Steps?
The River City First Steps guides you to discover your redemptive purpose and live the life God created for you. It is designed to equip you to connect to the church, discover the strengths of your purposeful design, develop your personal leadership, and use your God-given gifts to make a difference in the lives of others.

When is First Steps?

First Steps happens every month in three consecutive Sundays, starting with Step One on the first Sunday of the month. We invite you to jump in at any time! Snacks and childcare are provided.
Step One
Connect with River City and discover the ins and outs of the church, learn details about beliefs, leadership and church government, how we handle money, and how we intentionally organize our church. You will also have the opportunity to become a member.
Step Two
Dive into the details of your personality, discover your gifts, and begin the journey of discovering your purpose in life and how you can make a difference in the lives of others.
Step Three
Find out what it means to make a difference with River City and connect to the opportunities available to live out your purpose and serve others by using your God-given gifts.
